Palisades is an American electronicore band from Iselin, New Jersey. They formed in 2011 and are currently signed to Rise Records.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Palisades on Rise Records )〕 The band began work on its first full-length album, ''Outcasts'', in 2012. The album was released the following year. In 2014, the band released a music video for a song titled "High and Low". The band announced plans for a second album in 2014.
On December 2, 2014 it was announced through Rise Records Facebook page that the band's second album would be called "Mind Games" and it was released on January 15.
==History==
The band released three singles off of their five song EP "I'm Not Dying Today", which was originally titled "The Rise" before the signing to Rise Records. The singles were "Immortal", "Bury It" and "Disclosure", featuring Tyler ''Telle'' Smith of The Word Alive. The singles had gained some internet buzz and also gained the attention of Rise Records who had decided to release the EP as well the additional full-length record deal. Rise had released that they had signed Palisades on December 20, 2011. The "I'm Not Dying today" was released on February 7, 2012 and was on the Rock Top 10 on iTunes for two consecutive days. In March, the band released a live video for the single "Bury It".
Palisades went on their first tour as a signed band with Us, From Outside, A Faylene Sky, Send The Messenger and, shortly after, released they were going to be on the Rise Records tour, with The Air I Breathe, My Ticket Home, and Hands Like Houses. The band then went to tour with Our Last Night, Crown the Empire, Set It Off, and Lions Lions on the Freedom Isn't Free tour.
On July 3, 2012, the band had announced that they were going to Canada with labelmates My Ticket Home and an unsigned band, Horizons. In November 2012, the band went to Chango Studios to record their debut album with producer Cameron Mizell. On January 11, 2013, the band announced that they had replaced At The Skylines on the I See Stars Filthy February Pt.1 Tour.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=488913601154632&set=a.247378925308102.62614.213997365312925&type=1 )〕 On April 9, 2013, it was announced, through ''Alternative Press'', that Palisades would release their debut full-length album, entitled Outcasts, on May 21, 2013.
In April, Palisades embarked on their second Rise Records tour with headliners Like Moths To Flames, Crown The Empire, The Color Morale, and My Ticket Home, and they announced that they would be continuing to tour with Crown The Empire on the Generation Now tour, with Capture The Crown, Heartist, and Famous Last Words.
On May 3, 2013, the band announced an end of production of their music video for their single "Outcasts", featuring Andy Leo of Crown The Empire. On May 29, 2013, the music video for "Outcasts" was released by Rise Records
On May 21, 2013, the debut record "Outcasts" was released, and it reached #4 on the iTunes rock charts, #7 on Billboard's hot new artists chart, and debuted at #181 on the Billboard top 200 lists.
On January 15, 2014, they released a music video for "High and Low".
On April 2, 2014 they released their cover of Beyoncé’s hit single “Drunk In Love” through Alternative Press.
On May 28, 2014, the band announced that they would be heading to the studio to begin work on their second album. Vocalist Lou Miceli released a statement regarding the overall sound of the band's second album stating: "We’re so excited to finally be in the studio recording our second album. We have grown so much since our last album and have really established a sound that is truly just PALISADES. We feel like we are able to capture the energy of our live shows and put it into an actual recording this time around. We are not holding anything back and can’t wait to make our mark with this sophomore release."
